Dear Friend,
I first want to thank you for taking the time to visit Joi's Angels virtual home! Please be sure to check back often for updates.
Next, I'd be lying to you if I said that we were not in critical need of financial support. We are currently at our capacity to store and transport food. So, we desperately need a new garage door to convert the garage into a secure dry food storage area. We also need materials and supplies to repurpose the Angel's House basement for bulk food storage (paint, sealer, heavy-duty shelving units). And our storage freezers are on the brink of breaking down. We're not looking for anything fancy, just functional.
As you decide what charity to support, please consider this: most of the goods and services we provide are fundamental to sustaining human life and dignity.

DONOR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When I press the
button, it takes me to PayPal. I don't want to create a PayPal account.
Answer: You don't have to create a PayPal account. After you've entered a dollar amount, DO NOT check the box that says "Make This A Monthly Donation". Checking that box will require you to create a PayPal account.
Then simply click the "Donate with a Debit or Credit Card" button. This will take you to a page where you enter your credit or debit card information just like any other site.
That said, if you did intend to make recurring monthly donation, then the PayPal signup is necessary. We regret that inconvenience.
I want to support Joi's Angels but I don't want to be listed on the joisangels.com homepage, on Facebook, in the quarterly newsletter, or on any event flyers.
Answer: No problem. We understand that for many, anonymity is a treasured possession. Just make sure that you note that in the questions/comments box in the form below.
I need a donor receipt for tax purposes. How will I get it?
Answer: When you complete the information in the box below, we will respond with an email and ask you if you'd prefer to recieve your donor receipt and thank you letter electronically or via U.S. mail. Once we have your answer, we'll send both out in short order.
I'm supporting Joi's Angels becuase I want to help those in need. I don't want my donation to be used to pay someone's salary.
Answer: We understand completely. ALL donations from this drive will be used ONLY to increase our storage and transport capacity: what is stated in Mark's letter above. Over the past 15 years, Mark and Joi have cultivated strong relationships with agencies like the Community Foodbank of New Jersey. Increasing our food supply to expand our reach is no problem. Our ability to store and transport is a big problem. Like Mark said, Joi's Angels is at capacity. We've transformed living and office space into food and life essentials storage space.
I have to fill out the form below in addition to completing a credit card form?
Answer: Yes and we're sorry about that. Presently, the only way we could eliminate this problem is by diverting funds from service/outreach to the software/vendors associated with accepting credit cards and creating donor databases. That's not a solution that we're willing to entertain.
