Located on the Newark-East Orange city line, Angel Spot is a 2100 square foot warehouse stocked with donated home goods from the surrounding communities.  The Angel Spot crew schedules pick-ups, moves and transports all furniture and home goods from donors’ homes free of charge.

 

Angel Spot contains furniture, appliances, electronics, racks-upon-racks of clothing—anything you’d find at a big-box retail home goods store—the only difference is that our items are “gently used”.  At any given time, artwork, rugs, and major household appliances are also available.

 

Angel Spot provides free business attire for job interviewees, and work clothes for men and women referred to Joi’s Angels by partner agencies:  the Essex County 1-Stop Employment and Training Center, the Urban League of Essex County, and Sierra House.
